The rules - 2010

The challenge is officially started for 2010 and will end on Saturday, May 1st.  
Good luck, and if you haven't already, post your goal and send your $$!

1. Entry Fee - $100 that can be paid via Paypal or by check (see Patricia's recent post).


$50 goes toward the final prize. The other $50 is dedicated to reaching your goal and will be awarded at the end of the challenge.  If you don't reach your goal, the $50 will go into the pot for the final prize.


2. Prizes


The grand prize will be awarded to the top female and male finishers by % of bodyweight lost by 5/1.  The minimum prize amount for each winner will be $200. 


There will be a midpoint prize of $100 on 3/6, for the top male and female. 


NOTE - You can win both the midpoint and final prizes.


3. Posting and Goals


Posting of your % body weight lost is encouraged weekly on Saturdays by noon.  The first check in will be Saturday 1/9.  In order to win the prizes you must post your % lost on 3/6 and 5/1.


Calculate your goal % body weight loss as follows:


(Current weight - Target weight) / Current weight


For example: 200 - 190 / 200 = .05 or 5%
